When will we consider our body as sacred
in every single part, in every single shape, in every single expression?
When will we respect and honor as sacred the body of the other,
of every single being?
When will we live inside our body as if in the sanctuary of a temple,
feeling humble and grateful,
enjoying the presence of the divine power?
When will we learn to appreciate childhood and youth,
adult age and old age,
putting into action the energies of each,
giving value and accepting with joy limits and duties
that belong to every single age?
When will we learn to use our body as a beautiful instrument
to put love into action in every little gesture,
from cuddling a baby to pouring water into a glass,
from chopping woods
to stepping on the earth?
When will we be able to hug, hold, comfort,
cuddle and love,
even without using just our body?
When will we be able to enjoy dawn, sunset and night,
spring, summer, autumn and winter,
birth and death, sadness and cheerfulness,
loneliness and company, enthusiasm and tiredness
without loving the one and hating the other,
by being aware that every single one of these poles
is necessary for the existence of the others?
When will we let flow what comes,
without being overwhelmed,
but keeping a steady on our focus
while being open to face unpredictable events and tests?
When will we start to hear and follow that deep voice
connected with the divine creative power
deeply inside ourselves,
which points out for us the direction we should keep
in order to carry out what we decided to achieve on the earth
step by step?
When will we get rid of what we don't need anymore,
let go through the world whatever we were able create in our life
– ideas, works of art, kids, dreams or thoughts –
and celebrate our death looking at the new life that it brings?
When will we realize that nothing inside or outside ourselves
could be completely bad,
because every single emotion, failing, deformity or rigidity,
all of them have a part of wisdom,
they have something to teach us,
and we can transform the energies we unleashed,
without wasting anything,
but focusing them to give always a new contribute
to the work of our soul?
When?
When?
When?
...Today?
